Employers faced with an ever growing challenge of recruiting the right talents into their organisations. The candidates are either deemed lack of skills or incompetent to take on the job in these organisations.

This created a cue for TalentEDge to step in to bridge the gap between the expectation of the employers and the current quality which young graduates who are stepping into their career, possess.

Plugged is a sustainable talent pipeline model, consists of learning and development platform for undergraduates which engages employers actively in the process, and subsequently creating a pool of young competent talents entering the workforce.






The Series

PluggED Series is held monthly in various F&B Outlets with the purpose to bring together working personnel from respective industries and undergraduates to have an open conversation to learn, share and hear from each other on the expectations facing the recruitment of graduates in recent times.

Graduates will learn what employers would expect from them in terms of knowledge, skills and character besides acquiring tips to secure the right job in the right organisations.

Employers will also learn on what attracts young bright talents into their organisations while understanding their learning path and finding out ways to assist and support these talents to achieve their future career goals.

Workshops


In the midst of actively engaging the young graduates, we understand that some young bright talents may miss the Series due to clash of academic schedule. To address the issue, TalentEDge brings the findings to Higher Learning Institutions to also conduct experiential workshops for the students.

Through this process, the learning and understanding of employers' feedbacks could never be more real than experiencing what each point brought forward meant. This will further inspire these young talents to rectify the issue and be resourceful enough to look for the solutions themselves by acquiring more knowledge and skills in their own ways.

Conventions

Plugged Conventions is the first annual convention of its kind, which brings together the upcoming corporate talents and HR practitioners under a same convention platform. The conventions encompass combined sessions of both groups as well as respective learning tracks, known as:

Plugged Talent Pipeline Convention for the HR Practitioners

Learning about the current trend and issues surrounding recruitment of future corporate talents besides establishing sustainable learning initiatives, engaging these talents.

Plugged Young Achievers' Convention for the Final-Year Undergraduates

Finding out about each industry which these young talents aspire to kick their career off with, besides learning about what each employer is looking for in terms of competencies, knowledge and skills.


Plugged Interactive Career Matching Enabler (PICME) System

To complete the ecosystem in establishing a talent pipeline system and to facilitate effective recruitment and development of talents with great potentials, TalentEDge has built a web system to ensure that proper learning paths and career matching of each talent is tracked.
